Elizabeth Free is a photographer working out of Austin, Texas. As a recent graduate of Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, she is working on many projects within Austin and of her travels. Focusing on social stigmas and the way humans interact with the world around them she strives to make us see seemingly mundane topics in a new way. Elizabeth has a deep interest in how the Earth is able to adapt to whatever mankind does to its natural habitat, and is eager to illustrate the juxtaposition of nature and the consequences of man.

Growing up a “military brat” who lived in Japan and moved often around the U.S., Elizabeth has a keen eye for capturing the influences that background and cultural traditions have on her subjects. This extends to the growing divide between the classes in America, and she works to create images that represent aspects of life that are not readily apparent to those outside of their own social status.

Elizabeth's Degree is a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Texas State University, San Marcos
